I just need a bandaid;;__open. « Thread Started on Jun 10, 2008, 1:34am »
Faith was on one of her usual wonders around the school. She got bored easily and seemed to just float around the school with boredom. She sighed slightly as she felt that she had no purpose in life at the moment. Oh, how she was bored out of her skull. If she got anymore bored, her whole body would just stop working to create some excitement. But little did Faith now, there was some excitement hiding around this very tree she was approaching. She slowly rounded the corner and there was that excitement, well, kind of. She walked around the tree and found herself tripping over. Okay, not the most exciting thing in her life, but the next bit was. As she laid on the floor, looking up at the tree, she saw something, glimmering in the light. A huge grin spread across her thin pink lips as she continued to concentrate on that little glimmer.
Faith slowly pulled herself off of the floor and decided she would climb up the tree. She brushed off her Motley Crue skinny fitting t-shirt and light blue skinny jeans. She climbed the tree carefully, making sure that her black low-top Converse didn't slip off. She was so very careful as to not mess up her perfectly straighten hair that currently had twigs and leave residing in it. She was also trying not to rip her jeans, it was too much like a clique eighties rocker. She finally reached the top of the tree and was nearing the glimmering object. Sadly, it was just out of her reach. She was determinded to get it and find out what the hell it was. She reached out but she just couldn't reach it. She kept shuffling until she finally got to the edge of the branch. She was right on the edge and leant out to grab the glimmering item. As she swatted her hand in the air she lost her balance and fell off the branch.
Faith crashed to the floor once again but this time with a little more force and a lot more pain. She let out a loud huff as she hit the floor. She looked down at her knee and noticed the fresh gash in the jean and sighed with frustration. "Oh great," she said under her breath, hating how clique she looked right now. She laid down again and after she had gotten over the fact she looked terrile, she finally realised that she was in slight pain. As she tried to bend her elbow, it killed and then her ankle was starting to stong and not to mention the throbbing in her head. As she looked up, squinting slightly, she noticed the glimmer had disappeared. She slowly pulled herself up and decided that she should go to the hospital wing. She limped along the grass, groaning and letting out small noises of pain, and finally got back into the building.
Faith sighed deeply as she pulled her small and slightly broken self up the stairs. She was craddling her arm as she reached the doors. She almost fell through the double doors but recovered from her stumble. She knew another tumble to the floor would just murder her. She slowly limped over to one of the beds that were laid out, all nice and clean and white. She almost collapsed on to it, taking the weight off her Conversed feet. She hugged her arm and sighed deeply. She slowly closed her eyes but wondered if that would be a good idea or not. She opened her eyes quickly as she realised that she may have just fell asleep and not woken up. The pain was starting to surge through her body. She kept her eyes on the ceiling but was slowly feeling herself losing consciousness. She tried to fight it so badly as the pain was getting worse. She supressed the scream as she bit her lip hard.

Jacob Diddly was cautious thirty-something year old and could never walk past the hospital wing, with out at least checking up on the medical supplies. To day was no exception. Jacob had been quiet ardently counting the number of flu-be-gone elixirs the hospital wing had, when one of the resident third years wandered in.
His head pricked up at the sound of the clumsy feet and he very nearly dropped the potion bottle he held in his hand. Along with counting the medical supplies, Jacob had also been checking the expiry dates of such items. As the drunken foot steps continued and slowly died; Jacob became more and more intrigued to who was the source. Soon he could no longer take the suspense and stuck his head through the door way of the store room cupboard and searched the room for the intruder.
Upon seeing the third year Jacob’s face quickly arranged itself from a smile to a look of concern. He became even more alarmed when he found that the student was in quite a great deal of pain and very quickly losing consciousness. Jacob quickly made his way over to the silently groaning student to inspect her further. It had been a long time –about three years - since Jacob had the chance to put all his theory and knowledge into use. He felt an odd sense of excitement in the prospect of getting to once again do the one thing he was born to do.
Finally he reached the student and he resumed his long since discarded healer approach. He looked anxiously over the student before saying. “Are you alright?” He paused for a moment trying to remember the usually diagnostic questions he was suppose to act. He was a bit rusty. “Do you know, where you are?”

Faith's eyes were scanning the room as she tried to find something to keep her eyes open. She finally rested on a face, one of a professor. How did she know? She was always teaching when she was roaming around the building and he had his own office, a pretty good reason to be a professor. She let her eye fixate on him, a concentration point to keep her awake but she was starting to feel a little bit tired. She slowly closed her eyes once again and heard footsteps, coming towards her. She guessed they belonged to the professor who was about to either call for a nurse or treat her himself. She suddenly heard his voice and she jerked awake, almost like a cat, she started to try and recover. As she moved she moved her elbow my accident, sending a sharp pain all the way up her arm. She went to scream out, but once again supressed it and instead a silent tear came rolling down her cheek.
Faith looked at him as she shifted herself up the bed, as she did she groaned and grunted as the twinges of pain shot up her legs, arms and head. She looked up at him and remembered he had asked a question. "I'm in a bit of pain," she said with her Canadian accent shining through. She wasn't going to admit that she was in a lot of pain because she didn't want to show herself as weak. She brought up her good arm to rub the temples of her head and shook her head slightly, changing her hair from blonde to black in almost an instant. "I'm in the hospital wing of Alphina Towers," she said after a deep breath.

“In the hospital wing ‘ey?” repeated Jacob in a miserable attempt at a Canadian accent. It only ended up being an even more muddled version of his own cross-nation accent. He chuckled to himself before he realized how insensitive he was being. “Sorry.” He mumbled diverting his eyes away from the injured third year.
His eyes soon caught sight of the third year’s rapidly swelling arm. His eye’s widened in shock. “What on earth happened to your arm?” He exclaimed dumbly pointing at said arm. He soon reclaimed his professionalism and without waiting for an answer quickly returned to the supply cabinet. Mumbling furiously to himself, as he picked up several vials of elixirs and potions. He was almost sure by the look at the student; she had at the very least fractured her arm in three places. Not to mention a possible concussion.
He soon returned to the student with his arms laden with medical supplies. He quickly and quite clumsily placed the vials on the table bedside the girl’s bed. He then expertly summoned a medicine glass from the cupboard on the other side of the room. Jacob shot out his right hand and caught the glass and with his other hand flicked the first potion bottle stopper with his thumb. He then fervently poured a healthy portion of the potion into the glass and handed it to the girl to drink. “Here, drink this it’ll stop the pain.”

Faith heard his terrible attempt at a Canadian accent and chuckled slightly. That's when she felt the sharp pain in her head. She rubbed her temples gentley again. She smiled weakly at him and shook her head. "Ah, it's fine," she said. It seemed like everyone she met tried to copy her accent so she was pretty used it now. She heard him ask his question and just as she was about to reply, he had sprinted off to the medical cabinet. She would reply to him, but when he cme back, she had always been told it was rude to shout. She only ever shouted at people she hated and to be honest, she had no real reason to hate this guy, after all, he was helping her. She looked up and watched as he came back over to her with all of his medical potions.
Faith looked at watched him as he placed the bottles on the table. She watched him closely as he poured the potion. She took it as he offered it and studied it almost, then she took a sip. She felt the cool liquid run down her throat which brought a smile to her face. She could feel it slowly numbing the pain in her head but not her arm too much, or her ankle come to that. Now the pains had calmed down slightly, she remebered the question he hd asked before he dashed off. She looked at him and chuckled slightly, remembering what she had done. "Oh, I climbed a tree and then fell out of it try to grab something...dunno what it was but it wasn't there when I looked up at the tree," she said, thinking back to that glimmer. She was really trying hard to think of what it could have been.
