Alphina Towers is an alternative universe role play based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. This time, set three years after the fall of Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, this site follows the story of students attending the newly established institution of further education for wizards and witches, Alphina College. So don't expect another typical site, because this is nothing like your ordinary Harry Potter role play. For more information, click here.

Coby stood in the middle of the green courtyard staring upwards at the sun. She was alone in her endeavor to challenge the sun's rays against her olive skin. Of course, all she really was doing was soaking in the heat the yellow ball gave off. It was a beautiful day, which meant more people bustling about the grounds rather than the library or classrooms. Of course, with any university, there was always more bustling around the grounds than indoors anyways. Coby stood smack dab in the middle of the grassy area, her arms outstretched and her head tilted back with eyes closed. She could feel her cheeks turning red as it soaked in the rays.
This was peaceful. The meditation she had been searching for since getting on a plane to move to the UK permanently. Coby's friends in the US were none too pleased, but the girl missed her family. She missed her parents and pets, but most of all she missed her sister. So, she had joined the University as a ploy to be closer to the family and meet new people. Not to mention become an Auror like her father. Ignoring snide remarks from some of the students, she continued her little pose, contemplating whether or not she should just break out and do some full fledged yoga or not.

``we're just dancing, we're just hugging.
Derek woke up fairly late that day, looking out the window he saw how beautiful it was outside. He smiled and got out of his oak-wood bed and walked into the dorm's bathroom. He walked across the black and white tiled floor after grabbing a towel. He turned the shower on and waited it to warm up, he slid of his boxers and hopped into the warm rush of water. He took a deep breathed and sighed as the refreshing water started to wake the boy up. He washed up and turned the handle until the water was meerly a drip here and a drop there. He opened the shower curtain and grabbed the towel and wrapped it around his waist. It was nice and plush, and warm. He walked out and over to his cherrywood dresser. He pulled out some hollister shorts and a blue hollister button down shirt and a white polo underneath. After spraying on collenge he was out the door.
It was a beautiful day and the sun was shinning so he just wanted to walk somewhere. He walked down to the starbucks and walked in as the bell dinged. The aroma of fresh brewed coffee filled his nose. He smiled as he walked to the counter and ordered a viente double chocolatey chip frapicinno. He slid the cashier a shiny new platnium and signed his name typing the pin code in. He waited for them to serve ther drink as he watched them blend, whip cream, dirzzle, and serve. He smiled a thanks and walked out of the small shoppe with another ding. He walked down the street taking a sip every once in a while.
He kept walking and heading towards the court, it was always a calm and relaxing place to just sit and think. He walked through the large iron gates onto the shaded cobble path. He saw the carts being pulled by a thestral, he sighed walked over and petted him softly. He sighed biting his lip, 'Its okay baby, I know how it feels..' he wispered and grabbed an apple from a tree and gave it too it. It ate it slowly as he walked away. He walked over to see his girlfriend. He smiled lightly and walked over held her waist with his colds hands as he kissed her neck. 'Whats up babe?' he asked sweetly.

Coby grinned and leaned back into Derek. Her smile was simple and content. She squirmed slightly in his cold hands as she turned around in his arms and looped them around his neck. "Hey you," She gave him a wink. "What are you doing here?" Coby enjoyed it when Derek sneaked up on her. He was always a pleasant surprise.
"Baby, your hands are freezing. What have you been doing?" Reaching down with her own tiny ones, she took his larger hands and held them tight, pulling them in towards her chest to warm them. She smiled as the action only brought them closer together. In Coby's book, it wasn't a full day until she had seen her true love. And naturally, he had found her, like he did most days. They were drawn together

Derek kept a tight grip around her waist as she squrimed a bit. He always thought it was cute how she did so. He smiled as she twisted around and as he felt her arms placed around his neck. He pulled his girlfriend closer and brushed his lips against her. He kissed her softly as he looked down at her smiling. He loved being close to her, it was always so amazing. He let the words sink in, he was trying to decide if he wanted a witty remark or a honest one. He smiled deciding to give a smart alec remark.
"Hey you," && "What are you doing here?"
He smiled looking at her soft olive skin. He kissed her cheek again. 'I was just looking for a dragon to tame, or a unicorn to ride. You know, the usual' he smiled teasingly and held her tight. He leaned into her and put his forhead to hers and smiled kissing her nose. He rubbed her back and held her close, he never wanted to let her go. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him. He smiled as she took his hand into hers. His hand did start to warm up, he listened to what she said and then took a sip of his drink.
"Baby, your hands are freezing. What have you been doing?"
He smiled and held the drink to her arm real quick before having another sip. 'I went to starbucks and got myself a drink, and then found you. What are you up too?' he asked sweetly taking her hand in his hand. He walked with her down the cobblestone pathway. He always enjoyed the cool breeze and the park in general. He glanced over at the thestrals and sighed biting his lip. Everytime he saw one he thought of the reason he could see them. He shrugged it off and tried not to make it noticable.

Coby gave a girlish giggle when he answered her question. It was the only time she ever really sounded girlish, when she was with Derek. He had that effect on her. Of course, he had the power to completely dazzle her. Coby loved the way he made her feel, even with the simplest of gestures or a slight kiss. When their lips briefly met, Coby felt completely at peace. Derek was a joker and always had some witty remark for her. Those remarks made Coby's day.
"Well then, apparently you need someone to hold your hand daily so they don't freeze." She looked over at him as they began to walk, enjoying the simplicity of it all. "So, you just chilling today?" She gave his hand a squeeze hoping to direct the answer somewhat subconsciously. It was a rare day when they didn't spend at least half of it together. They were two peas in a pod really. Since the day they had met, which was an odd day in and of itself. And it had happened right in this very court. They were together since.
