Alphina Towers is an alternative universe role play based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. This time, set three years after the fall of Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, this site follows the story of students attending the newly established institution of further education for wizards and witches, Alphina College. Character Information
Name: Flynn Carson Date of Birth/Age: 18 Years old, April Gender: Male Blood Type: Half-blood. Year: Not applicable, since Alphina College has just opened, all students will be first years. School Previously Attended: Hogwarts - Hufflepuff. Special Abilities/Extras: His Animagus is a hedgehog (beware of his spikes) and has his apparition licence.
Physical Attributes: Flynn has a fine built and quite fit, due to playing Quidditch. Flynn has chocolate brown hair, which sometimes he lets grow out a bit depending on what mood he is in. He also has brown eyes which are big and expressive, which he hates sometimes as his eyes always show his emotion, which he has trouble keeping in at times. His height is quite average, which he doesn’t really like as he wants to be taller. He also wears glasses to read only, as his eye sight isn't the best.
After his second year during the holidays, Flynn found a cave. And after searching around the cave, he finally found a precious stone artifact which was being protected by a stone solider that had been enchanted to kill anyone that came near. Using his magic and skillfulness he managed to destroy the solider, and in the process due to his clumsiness fell on top of the stone artifact, which resulted in a thin long scar running across his right knee, as it broke his knee. His mother was just happy that the artifact was in one piece. Sometimes he still experiences pain when walking for too long with out a break, running or dancing. (Which he isn’t very good at, so he avoids dancing all together)
Personality: Flynn is a kind heated and happy person. Sometimes he can be bit shy, and hates being put on the spot and he especially hates it when someone corrects him for a simple mistake. He is a clam, cool collected person; however when he gets upset or angry he just keeps it all in and will hardly ever yell at someone so he keeps most of it bottled up most of the time. When people get on his nerves, which is quite hard to do he usually jinxes them. Loyalty and the truth are two qualities that he admires above all else, and when someone breaks that trust or lies to him, he will never speak to them again.
Flynn loves collecting artifacts and prides himself on knowing about most artifacts. He loves hunting down rare items, but he doesn’t keep many of them, he gives them to his family’s library, which protects certain artifacts from being found and also keeping their secret. He loves going on adventures and usually finds trouble. He is also a hopeless romantic, and hopes to find someone to spend the rest of his life with. Unfortunately Flynn hasn’t had any experience in the dating department, as at Hogwarts he was too busy studying and he is a bit confused about his preference.
Flynn loves muggle books and loves crime/spy/action books and movies like James Bond, Indiana Jones and Die Hard series. He is known to quote from these movies and books, and also has posters and some collector’s items from these movies. He also has a passion for plants and usually has a few with him, like at Hogwarts his entire dorm was covered with plants, luckily his dorm mates didn’t care and sometimes late at night when everyone is asleep he talks to his plants. Flynn has a fear of big animals, especially huge dogs due to a few incidents as a child.
Family: Flynn has a small family, his mother who is a pure blood, his Father died when he was young, he has two older sisters the oldest is 26 years old and his other sister is 23 years old, making him the youngest. His oldest sister is married to a half blood and she has a daughter who is 4 years old.
History & Background: Flynn Carson was born to Ethan and Helen Carson in Seattle, U.S.A. Flynn was the youngest with older two sisters Pandora and Aimee. His family is a close knit family and very supportive. His parents always stood by his decisions. Flynn and his sister Aimee have a really great relationship and she has always been there for Flynn. His mother’s family has had a library that has been passed on to generation to generation where the library also guards ancient items; these are items that were never meant to be found and protects their secrets.
When Flynn was 6 years old, his Father died mounting climbing which was a hobby of his and did often. Flynn was very upset few a few months, and for a time was scared to leave the house, until his Mother convinced him that he had to live his life to the fullest no matter what and that his Father died doing something he loved.
When Flynn received his Hogwarts letter, he was thrilled as his sister was currently at Hogwarts as well and his whole family had gone there. He was so happy when he was sorted into Hufflepuff, like his sister Aimee. During his years at Hogwarts he was a vary studios student, and studying in advance sometimes. He got good grades, especially in Herbology and Potions. He was also Chaser for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, like his sister who was Captain. He made only a few friends at Hogwarts and was always reading or attending to his plants and cat, but the friends he did make are still his best friends.

Sample Post: Flynn was so excited that he had been accepted in Alphina College, he couldn’t wait to tell his mother, as a matter of fact that’s what he was going to do right now. As his Mother would be closing up now, he proceeded over to Carson Library. He took in the architectural design of the Library; Flynn realized that this would be second time he would be leaving his home.
When Flynn got to the doors, he realized that the Library was already closed. She must have already left he thought to himself, as he went to walk back home, he saw a light still on in the Library. That’s strange; there must be someone still in there. Flynn decided to see who it was and using his spare keys opened the doors. After quietly closing the door behind him, he walked through the selves of books, towards the room with the light on. Flynn quickly crouched down when he saw a shadow across the floor, something was telling him that there was something very wrong here and he was going to find out what it is.
